15 марта в 17:00 в Корпусе №8 по адресу пр.Машерова, 9 состоится объявление первых результатов конкурса BELARUS YOUNG CREATIVES 2017.
В конкурсах DESIGN, PR, CYBER и CLIENT будут названы имена победителей - команд, которые будут представлять Беларусь на Каннском Международном Фестивале Креативности.
А в конкурсах PRINT и FILM будут объявлены финалисты, которые будут приглашены на Презентацию Каннских Львов 17 марта, где и узнают имена победителей.
Победителей в этом году, как и все прошлые годы, определяет международное жюри. На этот раз в жюри конкурса вошли 14 лидеров рекламных рынков Словакии, Ирландии, Шри-Ланки и Финляндии. Представляем вам членов жюри Belarus Young Creatives 2017.

Ленка Словак Бонова (Lenka Slovák Bónová) – Creative Director Respect APP (Словакия)
I am creative director in advertising agency Respect APP. I have been working as copywriter and idea maker in advertising for 9 years. I am a board member of Art Directors Club Slovakia which is a part of Art Directors Club of Europe. Also I am a screenwriter working on some independent Slovak movies.
Awards: Piaf, Golden Nail. Experiences: organizator of local competition for students, juror of Young Lions Slovakia.
Яаакко Вейола (Jaakko Veijola) – Partner, Creative Director Wörks (Финляндия)
Jaakko Veijola has worked over decade in top agencies in Finland before founding his own game changing Wörks Agency. Wörks Agency’s agile innovation is to create marketing strategies closely together with clients.
Jaakko Veijola has strong background creating and developing both B2C and B2B brands and he has been awarded during past years several times both internationally and nationally, like Epica and New York Festivals.

I have been at Leo for the over 11 years. Prior to that, I headed the Corporate Communications division of Sri Lanka’s largest company – MAS, that has a staff of over 86,000 people in 15 countries, and has an annual turnover of 2 billion USD.
I have been the Creative Director at Ogilvy Sri Lanka for 5 years and began my career began as a copywriter at Minds FCB, of the Bozell Group, at which I worked for 5 years. I have had my work featured in the Lazeurs Archive and have won at Spikes Asia.
I have been privileged to be in the Jury of Sri Lanka’s Advertising Awards – The Chillies and have also been in many of the Young Lions and Young Lotus juries locally.
Питер О’Двайер (Peter O’Dwyer) – Creative Director of Havas Ireland (Ирландия)
Peter O’Dwyer is a self taught artist and designer who has been working in a wide range of creative fields for the last 15 years and is currently award winning Executive Creative Director of Havas Worldwide Advertising agency. As an artist, he built a hotel suite entirely out of ice in the Ice Hotel in Sweden as an installation piece. He has exhibited his own original genre of painting in Dublin, London, Los Angeles, New York & Venice. His work is in the collections of Massive Attack the author Irvine Welsh, The Chelsea Hotel New York and The Absolut Art Collection. He has also designed furniture and interiors and many books including artist’s monographs and the award winning bestselling titles The Goddess Guide and The Goddess Experience. Vogue magazine heralded his book cover design for The Goddess Guide as an example of the most original and authentic cover designs of 2007. As a photographer he has taken portraits of Vivienne Westwood, Martin Parr, Kanye West, Paul Smith, Tracey Emin and David LaChapelle for his work.

Осси Хонканен (Ossi Honkanen) – Art Director, Creative Director Hasan Partners (Финляндия)
12 years ago he started as the weird and geeky digital guy. Soon the digital wave flushed the marketing scene and Ossi was right in the middle of that transformation. Armed with the enthusiasm of a 10-year old and a lifelong passion to learn he has crafted several awarded cross-platform campaigns for leading brands.
Мартин Мазаг (Martin Mazag) – Managing Director PRime time (Словакия)
As a Managing Director of PRime time agency, Martin is now responsible for strategic client service, international projects, public affairs, media relations and lobbying. He acts as supervisor, strategic coordinator and strategic consultant for clients and coordinates PRime time international projects as part of Weber Shandwick network.
Martin studied journalism at Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University in Bratislava. From 1993 he worked in various print media, since 1994 he was a media consultant for environment organizations SZOPK , Greenpeace and Energy 2000. For over 15 years he was the chief editor and member of the management Stratégie magazine – the only magazine for professionals in advertising, marketing and media field in Slovakia. He has been a member of many international juries of prestigious advertising festivals at home and abroad, co-organizer of the national creative competition Golden Nail. More than 10 years he has been engaged in issues of corporate social responsibility.
Ароша Перейра (Arosha Perera) – Chief Executive Officer Leo Burnett Sri Lanka (Шри-Ланка)
Over the last 20 years Arosha has worked with many iconic brands both in Sri Lanka and the Asia Pacific region. Before taking on the reigns at Leo Burnett Sri Lanka his career was forged at JWT. He joined JWT Colombo in 1997, and was thereafter posted to JWT Bangkok, Mumbai, Shanghai and Singapore in senior regional roles on the Unilever business, over the course of a decade.
In 2015 he returned to Sri Lanka as COO of Leo Burnett and was appointed CEO in 2017.
Андрей Главачка (Andrej Hlavačka) - Effectivity Powered by Publicis (Словакия)
Andrej has studied biology and did research on plant signaling for almost 7 years. In 2008, after his return back to Slovakia, he has quit science and started his advertising career at MUW Saatchi & Saatchi. He has been responsible for most of the online campaigns for brands like T-Mobile, Telekom, Pilsner Urquell, ČSOB. In 2012, he moved to Wiktor Leo Burnett and has been assigned the whole bunch of new clients including Orange, J&T Bank, Kia to improve their digital presence. Since 2015, he is a Chief Innovation Officer at Effectivity POWERED BY PUBLICIS dealing with new ways how to approach potential customers in brands communication.
During his career, he took part in developing some of the most successful campaigns like „Messages“ for T-Mobile (2009) and „PlayDowJones“ for J&T Bank (2015). The latter one has been awarded by Bronze Lion at Cannes Lions Festival last year.

I’m a Civil Engineer by training. I’ve been a bartender, an Investment Banker and a High School Physics Teacher. And, over the last 11 years, I’ve built the Digital Team at LB Sri Lanka.
As Digital storytellers and experience-creators, it is Our role to shape meaningful relationships between the brands ‘we’ serve and the people ‘they’ serve. What We do is difficult and, at times scary, because we are constantly pushing our creative limits and taking risks to create bold, human solutions for our clients. That takes courage! It is true in Sri Lanka and it is true in Belarus. We are the same. I am honoured to be involved in your competition. My message to the all participants would be “be kind to yourself and live each day with the courage to be You”.
